Recommendation letter là một phần không thể thiếu từ học bổng, chương trình ngắn hạn hay internship. Vậy bạn biết gì về RC và cách để có một lá thư giới thiệu ấn tượng?

Letter of Reference là gì?

LOR ( Letter of Recommendation hay reference letter hay recommendation letter ) nghĩa là thư giới thiệu. Khi nộp đơn xin học tại những trường ĐH quốc tế, bạn thường phải nộp từ 2-3 LOR của những người có tương quan, để nhà trường mà bạn sắp theo học hoàn toàn có thể nhìn nhận được bạn ngoài điểm số, và lựa chọn những ứng viên tương thích nhất .Thư giới thiệu xin học bổng là bạn được một người hay một tổ chức triển khai đề cử bạn với quỹ học bổng nào đó, nhưng trong thực tiễn cách viết thư giới thiệu xin học bổng không phải ai cũng biết làm. Nếu bạn lần đầu xin học bổng và không biết thư tự giới thiệu xin học bổng là phải qua những bước từ tìm người viết recommendation letter cho bạn, chuẩn bị sẵn sàng thông tin, cách trình diễn, xin chữ ký, gửi / upload recommendation letter, … .

Cách viết thư tự giới thiệu xin học bổng

• Tiếp cận những người bạn muốn họ giới thiệu bạn .
• Sắp đặt những buổi hẹn, mang theo những tài liệu thiết yếu cho người giới thiệu xem .
• Dịch thư và sửa lỗi, bạn hoàn toàn có thể nhờ ai đó giỏi tiếng Anh tương hỗ. Lên list hết những trường / chương trình cần nộp để làm nhiều LOR một lần
• Mang những LOR đã được dịch và sửa lỗi đến cho người giới thiệu xin họ ký tên

Lưu ý

Khi trình diễn LoR, tốt nhất nên nếu rõ tên học bổng, chương trình, không nên dùng từ ngữ chung chung để gửi cho mọi chương trình. Ngoài ra để không mất nhiều thời hạn cho việc đi xin chữ ký thì bạn làm một loạt LoR rồi xin chữ ký hoặc trình ký sau đó scan rồi lưu dưới dạng file ảnh, làm như vậy sẽ thuận tiện vì sau này viết LoR chỉ việc chèn chữ ký vào file word rồi chuyển sang pdf và nộp .
